The first book in the series 'Darkness Rising' tells the dark, gritty tale of Princess Dubheasa Ravenstorm. Dubheasa was born with the mark of an ancient prophecy; a prophecy predicting that she will become the cruel and magically powerful Dark Fairy. Judged and feared from birth, she finds herself in a constant battle with the darkness within her as it feeds on her trauma from the hate and manipulation of those around her, those are supposed to care.
Can the love she finds save her? Or will evil prevail and recreate her as the villain of her own story?

Bio
I am an emerging author with a strong foundation in theatre and a growing body of written work centered around fantasy and imaginative worldbuilding. The series originally began as a stage play, where I introduced a new villain and discovered the larger narrative potential that has since evolved into a dark, slightly spicy, adult fantasy infused with magic and morality. I’m currently editing book two, and writing the third book of The Darkness Series, expanding my universe, character development and adding emotional depth.
I am a member of the Writers’ Guild of Great Britain (WGGB), London Playwrights and Papa Tango: communities which continue to support my development as a writer and playwright. In addition to writing novels, I have written and produced original pieces for the stage, including 'Darkness Unleashed', 'The Ship of Dreams,' and 'A Pirates Tale', along with a collection of short sketches performed regionally. These projects helped shape my voice as a storyteller, and strengthened my ability to craft compelling narratives.

I also liked how Dubheasa's inner turmoil was written. The constant battle between the good and darker sides of herself felt well handled and added a lot of depth to her character. It made her feel layered and unpredictable.
I loved the fantasy world Michelle Jameson has created. I went in knowing nothing about it, but I'm really eager to learn more about the history and lore. It feels like a well developed world and it's exciting to experience it.
Overall, it was addictive, entertaining, and hard to put down. Definitely worth reading if you enjoy darker fantasy with romance and surprises along the way, especially if you like supporting up and coming authors. I'm definitely looking forward to reading the next book.''
